Nottingham Co-production Group meetings and minutes Nottingham co-production > Nottingham Co-production Group meetings and minutes What we do - a typical steering group meeting: We begin the meeting with refreshments, tea, coffee and a light lunch; during lunch we chat to one another and catch up. We all follow our code of conduct, these are the rules we agreed between us to make sure we feel comfortable during our meetings. We have an agenda to follow so we know what to expect, The agenda is sent to us by email before the meeting and is available in paper on the day. We are given a folder to keep our papers in, sometimes people like to write down their own notes but this isn’t essential. The meeting is facilitated by a POhWER staff member. During our meeting, we follow the agenda and discuss different ideas and topics, we share our views and experiences. One person keeps a note of what has been discussed, the notes are called “minutes”; we all have our own copy of the minutes and check them to make sure they are accurate. The meeting is confidential, we don’t record anyone’s name so that everyone is able to speak freely and honestly. Sometimes a guest attends seeking our involvement in their research or to tell us about their work. Our meeting lasts for two hours.
