Lisa, 58 year old lady with reduced mobility and dyslexia, was referred to the service by her aunt who was concerned about Lisa’s reduction in Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and being able to pay for the support she needed. The aunt also raised about Lisa’s home environment and hoarding tendencies. HertsHelp made contact with Lisa to discuss her situation. Read more

Roger's story - HertsHelp

Roger is 75 years old and lives in a three-bedroom social housing property. He had been admitted to hospital following a fall on the steps outside his property which caused an injury to his ribs. Roger was referred to HertsHelp by the nurse in charge of the ward he was being treated on at Watford General Hospital as a hospital discharge case. The nurse had become aware that Roger’s property was in a bad state. Read more
