Do you want to help empower people and protect their rights?

POhWER are offering an exciting opportunity to join us near the beginning of our fundraising journey. Through fundraising you can help empower marginalised people in the community to uphold their rights and get their voice heard. Learn about the difference you could make.

We are looking for a passionate, creative individual, with an eye for detail, who has a desire for positive change.

This role will be bespoke to your interests and will give you valuable experience in third sector fundraising. We will offer you to support with a variety of tasks such as recruiting fundraisers, supporting the donor journey and helping to design inspiring campaigns and events.

During this role you will be supported by an experienced, compassionate, responsive team that will actively utilise your current abilities, support you to develop new skills and stimulate your interests.

About POhWER

POhWER was established in 1996 by a group of people with disabilities who were fighting social injustice and challenges in their lives. POhWER still operates with these roots at the heart of everything it does; supporting marginalised, vulnerable and socially excluded people through its charitable work. In 2020/21 POhWER supported over 500,000 people to protect their rights, have their voice and access support available.
