Good evening. My name is Sunny Arthur Zakaria Durant. I am currently detained under S3 of the mental health act based at Cherry Ward of Callington Road Hospital. I have a ward round at 10am tomorrow, and I am requesting your help to ensure the law is followed correctly, as the criteria of me being a danger to myself or others is not met, so they should legally discharge me tomorrow. My RC, Dr.Afghan today even attested himself that I was of no harm to myself or others but refused to discharge me. This breached his contract under the mental health act codes of practice chapter one. They are also not fully taking my views into account. The paperwork was also filled out incorrectly, and two weeks for them to make changes has elapsed, making the detention unlawful. I am urgently requesting an IMHA to be present at my ward round at 10am on 03/06/2026 so that the law is followed correctly, so I am fully discharged. Thank you in advance.
