Suffolk Advocacy Service is delivered by a partnership which includes POhWER, Suffolk Family Carers, ACE Anglia and Suffolk User Forum.

The Suffolk Advocacy Service delivers the following services:

• Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) (For those aged 16 and above) including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and Relevant Person's Paid Representative (RPPR)
• Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA)
• Independent Care Act Advocacy (ICAA)
• NHS Complaints Advocacy
• Children's Advocacy including:
  • Children in care
  • Care Leavers
  • Children who wish to make a complaint
  • Children living in residential care 
  • Children who go missing (Return Home Interviews)
  • Children who present as homeless at 16/17 yrs old
  • Children aged 12+ subject to child protection planning
  • Children and young people receiving social care services: 
    • Aged up to 18 years according to their understanding and ability to use advocacy.
    • Aged up to 24 years, if they have a disability 
• Community Advocacy including Community Mental Health Advocacy, Carers Advocacy Support, Group Advocacy, Learning Disabilities Advocacy and Child Protection Advocacy
• Peer Led Mental Health Inpatient Advocacy Drop Ins
