POhWER has been working in Norfolk since 2003. We work in partnership with our colleagues at Age UK Norfolk to support people with NHS Complaints Advocacy and Relevant Paid Persons Representative (RPPR). We also work in partnership Royal Association for Deaf People (RAD) to support people with deaf advocacy in Norfolk.

We offer the following services in Norfolk:

• NHS Complaints Advocacy
• Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and Relevant Paid Persons Representative (RPPR)
• Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA)
• Independent Care Act Advocacy
• Deaf Advocacy

How do I get support from an advocate?

To make a referral to the advocacy services in Norfolk, you can download the forms below:

• NHS Complaints Advocacy referral form
• Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) referral form
• Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) referral form
• Care Act Advocacy referral form - You will need to be referred to us by your local council's social care service, who will decide whether you meet the eligibility criteria.
