What can I do to remind Public Authorities of my rights and entitlements under Human Rights Act?

  1. Educate yourself on what rights you have 
  2. Ask for help from an advocate to understand your options
  3. Write to Public Authorities to remind them of what rights you have, or how your rights have not been upheld through their complaints process
  4. Escalate within Public Authority and appeal a complaint outcome you are not happy with
  5. Escalate to other external organisations who can help to amplify your voice, such as other Charities, Ombudsman, Equality & Human Rights Commission, and the Care Quality Council
  6. Write to your local MP and ask for help 
  7. Go to a court of tribunal
