About the role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Manager to manage and further develop our Central and East of England Services as well as joining POhWER’s Senior Management Team.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Service Delivery and providing overall leadership to the service teams across the region. We are looking for a confident positive team player with evidenced management skills, who is able to quickly establish effective working relationships with local commissioners and staff. 

The successful candidate will lead on specific aspects of service development and promote income diversification. You will also ensure that all local services are delivering to their contractual requirements and that POhWER is engaged with and accessible to local stakeholders and the community.

About you: We are looking for a candidate who has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of statutory and non-statutory advocacy services and models and the legislation and policies that shape and guide current and future practice.

You will have worked in advocacy, Information and advice or a similar role, ideally in a health, social care or voluntary setting and will have experience of working within the voluntary sector.

This role will require you to travel independently of public transport and have a full driving licence.
