What is an overlay?

We have custom overlays that are accessible for anyone to use, these go on your stream to show your audience that you’re representing us! Its like having a fancy background for your stream. They are very easy to set up and we have a guide on exactly how to do it on our website.

Do I have to stream?

To take part in our event you must stream any video game of your choice. However you can help support us in other ways by simply interacting with the other streamers that are involved or donating through our Tilitify link.

When is the event taking place?

How long do I have to game for?

We would love to see all our gamers do 12-hour streams and really challenge yourselves however we understand health issues may obstruct people from doing this, so we understand if you need to cut your streams short. We also advise you to take multiple short breaks throughout your streams.

How do I stream my event?

You need to have a Twitch account and you can download either OBS studio or Streamlabs to assist you in broadcasting. Once downloaded, link your twitch account, set up some screens like a game capture screen and a camera screen and build your audience. A game capture screen is the live video feed that shows the game you are playing. A camera screen is the live video feed that shows you playing the game.

Can under 18’s take part?

Sadly, we can’t allow anyone under 18 to participate in raising money for us as it goes against our Terms of Service and Twitch’s Terms of Service. However under 18's are more than welcome to watch and take part in that way.

What game can I play?

You can play anything you wish. You will need to display a disclaimer on your stream if you are playing a game which is 18 rated. We want you to have as much freedom to stream whatever you’d like but also want to keep people safe and make sure people aren’t viewing content that isn’t age appropriate to them.
