Role No.1: 1 x 6 month (Potentially 12 months) fixed term contract - full time, working 37 hours, 5 days per week Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Role No.2: 1 x Permanent contract - Part time, working 22.2 hours over 3 days, Monday to Friday (Days to be agreed) 9am-5pm

Location: Home Based – London, Dalston

Salary: £20,000.00 - £22,438.00 per annum, pro rata accordingly, plus London weighting £3,182.00 per annum, pro rata accordingly + Benefits

About the role: We have two current vacancies as advertised above for NHS Complaints Advocates to join our London team working over multiple Boroughs based in London, Dalston. 

We are looking to recruit people who share our core values and can demonstrate that they apply and live those values in their daily working practice.

About you: You will be supporting a wide range of vulnerable people with sometimes profound and multiple needs, so ideally you will have experience of this type of work, along with a good working knowledge of voluntary organisations.

You will be a confident positive team player, able to work in partnership with clients and professionals, gaining an understanding of their issues by listening, exploring options and taking action as directed by them. Our ideal candidate will have worked in advocacy, Information and advice or similar role before, ideally in a health, social care or voluntary setting and will have experience of working with vulnerable adults.

You will need to have a flexible attitude and must be comfortable handling highly sensitive information, and in seeking support and supervision. Strong communication skills and time management skills will be required and you will need to be computer literate.

Because of the nature and location of the role, applicants must live within or close to the London area
