We are proud to announce that one of our Birmingham volunteers Korn Damrongwisetpanit successfully completed a 192 mile walk in 14 days for POhWER and has raised £390!

Korn started his journey on Saturday 20th August. His journey took him from St Bees on the west coast to Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast. He went up and down dales, across muddy fields, streams and some very beautiful countryside. The weather was changing and mixed, he suffered the elements of the British summer time.

Korn encountered on his travels other groups of walkers and that helped to support him and keep him going on his long trek.

Everyday Korn blogged on his Justgiving page about his journey and how he was progressing.

Here is an extract taken from Korn’s Blog- Day 14 - "That is it! Done! Arrived at Robin Hood's Bay. 200 and something miles. Gained elevation higher than Mount Everest. 3 national parks. 14 days. Met uncountable awesome amazing people. The photo is the stone that I took from St. Bee and I thrown them into Robin Hood's Bay as tradition."

POhWER would like to thank Korn and the people who have donated.

You can still donate via Korn’s justgiving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Kornwalk, you can also see more of the wonderful pictures of his journey.
