About us News Welcoming our new Director of Finance and Resources: Vicky Hilpert We are pleased to have appointed Vicky Hilpert as our new Director of Finance and Resources – meaning we now have an all-female executive team. Vicky has already been carrying out some functions of the role as she has been in post on an interim basis since April. But she will now be the permanent Director of Finance and Resources and will take over fully from July. Vicky’s appointment means we now have an all-female executive team, including the highest post, the Chief Executive. In her position, Vicky will lead the charity’s strategic business planning and budgeting process to support growth and sustainability. She previously held senior roles within the NHS and before joining POhWER, she spent five years working within the senior leadership team at the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health; during this time she undertook the roles of Director of Finance and Governance and Chief Operating Officer. Vicky says: “I am delighted to be joining POhWER permanently as the Director of Finance and Resources. It has always been important to me to work within organisations that deliver public benefit and make a real difference to people’s lives.” Vicky’s appointment means all executive leadership positions are now held by women, including the Chief Executive role. Additionally, women make up more than 79 percent of the total POhWER workforce and the charity is proud to have closed its gender pay gap. POhWER Chief Executive Officer, Helen Moulinos, says: “I am thrilled to welcome Vicky permanently to POhWER’s executive leadership team. “Vicky brings with her experience, knowledge and insight of finance and resources. She will make a brilliant addition to our charity helping our efforts to achieve our mission of making sure everyone who wants to be heard is so. “We are pleased to be welcoming her as a permanent member of our executive team.” Manage Cookie Preferences
