Are proving over the phone help with setting up a Learn My Way account for your home usage. Learn My Way can help you get to grips with: using your device, including using a keyboard, mouse and touchscreen (smartphones and tablets), online basics, Microsoft Office programs, internet skills, watching and listening online, online safety, improving your health online
accessing public services. You can test your numeracy and literacy level on Learn My Way. They are also providing help to set up a Skype, Viber or Whatsapp accounts to help citizens communicate more efficiently via video chat to either our team or your family. They are also providing support with Facebook setup and how to use it safely, including security options.

They can provide help setting up online shopping accounts to order groceries and other products. They can talk citizens through their first shop although they will have to input your payment card information independently. Dosti Ladies Social Group Alum Rock Dosti ladies is an informal group led by volunteers ran every Wednesday. The group offers a range of activities such as cake decorating, card making, knitting, crochet and looking after their herb garden. The group especially enjoy a nice cup of tea and biscuits. The group also attend events to various local places of interest, including the Botanical Gardens, Birmingham University and the German Markets. There is also a walking group which is every Tuesday. They have no plans to start back at the centre. The earliest will are looking to return will be September / October.
They have started virtual sessions instead. Virtual sessions include new moms group, virtual basic English class and Virtual Dosti Group.
