Lauren is an Associate Solicitor. She specialises in advising older and vulnerable people or families of older and vulnerable people.

Lauren has a vast amount of experience in dealing with Court of Protection applications; assessing mental capacity; making wills and powers of attorney; local authority care funding and continuing healthcare funding and appeals.

The main focus of Lauren’s work is to manage the affairs of individuals who have lost capacity to make decisions for themselves, for example due to dementia, injury or mental illness. In this scenario Lauren acts as decision maker for the client on both day to day decisions such as settling bills and arranging their shopping, and also more significant decision making such as selling their home and long term financial planning.

Lauren is an accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly and an affiliate member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners.

Lauren is passionate about protecting the vulnerable.
