Birmingham City Council has assembled a £2m small grants funding scheme to help people and community groups celebrate the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Celebrating Communities grants are available for projects under one of three themes: 'Getting Active', 'Ready, Steady, Fun' and 'Celebrating Culture'.

The first application window opened on 1 March and runs to 1 June (and there's a second from 1 October to 1 January 2022).

You can apply now if you're ready - although we'll have important news very soon about getting support with your application. Hodge Hill NNS will be involved in this fund programme with local ward councillors within Hodge Hill constituency, we will be providing more information on this through updates on this web page and through our social media channel

Birmingham Community Matters will also be providing support to applicants on how to apply through dedicated workshops.
