Our 'POhWER's Response to Covid-19 Impact Report' has been referenced and quoted in Amnesty International's Report 'AS IF EXPENDABLE' which looks at the treatment of older people in care homes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Among those who raised concerns about the imposition of DNARs without due process is the Advocacy charity POhWER, which reported that “we have identified multiple examples of DNAR orders being inappropriately used and ‘blanket’ DNARs being applied by GPs to all residents in particular care homes without people being consulted with appropriately.” ‘POhWER’s Response to Covid-19 Impact Report’, 2020."
