As well as offering the full range of statutory advocacy services we will be offering independent advocacy and advice under the Care Act. Our new local Community Navigator will be delivering a truly local service, offering an information and advice service to vulnerable adults, as well as signposting people onwards to other local general and specialist providers, where appropriate. We can take referrals from any organisation or individual, including self referrals. We will continue to provide Voice and Empowerment services, as well as training customers with learning disabilities and/or autism to become ”experts by experience” so that they can become involved in peer support networks.
