POhWER’s Board of Trustees have been nominated for two Board Awards.

The Board Awards is a not-for-profit awards ceremony to celebrate diverse boards who go above and beyond to positively impact the communities they serve. The Board awards are run by Diversifying Group.

POhWER’s Board have been nominated for the Disability Board of the Year – an award for the Board who have had the greatest impact on improving the lives of people with disabilities, and the Greatest Impact for Inclusion Board of the Year – an award for the Board who are taking proactive steps to fight for inclusion and for the voices of traditionally marginalised groups to be heard across everything they do.

POhWER are proud that our board has been nominated and that POhWER’s contributions to diversity and inclusion have been recognised in this way.

The shortlisting process will begin once the nomination submissions have closed at the end of February. We look forward to hearing if we have been shortlisted.
