POhWER Local Group explain what POhWER means to them:

Hertfordshire County Council would like people with learning disabilities, their families and carers to engage with the Learning Disability Big Plan ‘Check in’ survey.

Hertfordshire’s Big Plan for adults with learning disabilities (2019-24) commenced in 2019 before the COVID pandemic. They now want to check in with people before updating the Big Plan’s action plan to make sure that they’ve taken into account the changes/different experiences that have occurred over the past 18 months.

The survey available as follows:

They are happy to receive views from individuals, groups, paid/unpaid carers, others – please do indicate who responses are from, whilst maintaining the anonymity of contributors. You will find the monitoring information for this in all of the survey formats. They are happy to receive photos of written/drawn views/expressions/stories which can be either emailed or sent by Freepost – details in the attached documents.

The deadline for survey returns is 16th September
