Sandra Harding Sandra is a chartered and HCPC registered physiotherapist with more than thirty-five years’ experience in the public and private healthcare sector. Her experience of healthcare scenarios where an advocate could have had so much impact led her to apply to become a trustee. She has managed several clinical services, an independent hospital, and the national physiotherapy service for BMI Healthcare, leading more than 750 staff. In this role she was seen by board members, colleagues, and peers as an “inspiring individual who is emotionally intelligent, listens and is able to relate to all.” In 2017 she resigned to create a start-up business initially advising and supporting physiotherapists to evidence compliance with their regulations and standards. Together with her business partner they are on a mission to enable these services to illustrate robust governance - keeping clients, staff, and business owners safe. This can then assist them, if challenged, by the relevant regulators including the Health and Care Professions Council and the Care Quality Commission (CQC). In 2021 the business rebranded and taking her lived experience and learnings she now supports many High Street clinics and hospitals and supports more clinical professions including osteopaths and chiropractors. In January 2022 Sandra joined the board of a Large NHS Hospital Trust as an associate non-executive director. She is also a long serving primary school vice chair of governors, a Winston Churchill Fellow, and a parish councillor. She has a love of family, exercise, and food. Alongside her career, she is busy at home with menagerie thanks to her daughters! Manage Cookie Preferences
