Department of Health: Winterton announces next steps in boosting patient involvement in NHS services

A further step in increasing patient involvement in the improvement of NHS services was announced on 8 June 2005 by Health Minister Rosie Winterton.
She announced that a new resource centre will be set up to support the delivery of patient and public involvement (PPI), building on the recent commitment to make PPI part of everyday practice.
