Nottinghamshire - Your Voice, Your Choice

POhWER is proud to have been delivering advocacy services in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire since 2010.

POhWER are working with Nottinghamshire Deaf Society to ensure deaf people in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire can access advocacy support.

We provide the following services in Nottinghamshire:

Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) including Relevant Person's Paid Representative Services (RPPR) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
Community Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards/1.2 Representative
Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) (including informal/voluntary patients in hospital settings)
Independent Health Complaints Advocacy
Independent Care Act Advocacy (including people in prisons within Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City)
Learning Disability and Autism Programme for children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism
Volunteer and group support
Co-production Support Service

How do I get support from an advocate?

To make a referral to the advocacy services in Nottinghamshire, you can download the forms below:
