About the role: 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration and Marketing Assistant to join our Service, Design and Development Team based in Stevenage on a permanent full time basis, Monday to Friday. The role will provide an administrative and bid management support to the team as well as working in collaboration with the Digital Media and Communications Officer to support the development and promotion of local POhWER Services.

The role will also entail having specialist knowledge and skills in production of tailored promotional materials in a range of formats and being able to support the production of information and publicity materials in a range of formats including Easy Read, Makaton, Braille, BSL audio, large print, DVD and short film clips to evidence service user outcomes and information about POhWER services.

Day-to-day, the role will involve organising and maintaining diaries, making appointments, efficient system filling, updating current tracker systems and identifying potential tender opportunities. Supporting bid writers throughout tender processes, compiling information packs, writing processes for directorate, updating the company website and monitoring POhWER’s social media channels.

About you: 

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills, good knowledge of bid management processes, IT skills and Microsoft packages. Experience in InDesign and Photoshop will be an advantage as well as good written and verbal communication.


Ideally our successful candidate will be qualified to an NVQ level 3 in Business and Administration have experience in Mail Chimp, website content management systems, Easy Read, video/audio production and social media channels as well as contract and tender tracking.
